Do I need to use GC mousse plus?

The fluoridation levels of the water that you consume while your teeth are developing (adult teeth from birth to 15 years of age) are extremely important. The incorporation of fluoride into the enamel matrix enables the enamel to resist more readily the action of dental decay causing bacteria. The action of the fluoride on already erupted teeth is important but it can only work on the surface layers.

Click on the link below to check your fluoride exposure. This will of course only include water supplied by the government bodies. If you are using tank water then chances are the fluoride content will be very low.

If you have had minimal exposure to fluoride when your teeth were developing then you maybe in a high risk for dental decay. The use of high fluoride tooth pastes such as Neutrafluor 5000 and mouthwashes Neutrafluor 220 and 900 and also the use of GC  tooth mousse plus maybe recommended.

Please be careful with the overuse of these products in children as too much fluoride can cause a mottling or white spot appearance on the enamel. Please seek advice from me advice@dentalcareproducts.com.au or your dental health professional.
