On this page are some of the questions and which we are asked most frequently by viewers and prospective buyers, as well as the answeres to those questions. What about products that are not on your website?
We have investigated a large number of dental products, and have used our experience to recommend the best products to you on this website. For legal reasons, we must limit our advice on other products through this website. However, if you wish to hear advice on a particular product, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com. For general questions and queries, please feel free to post on our Facebook page.
Can we get a product that is not advertised on the website?
If you feel you have a product you would like to keep using regularly, please let us know and we will seriously consider adding it to the selection available on the website. Alternatively, we may be able to give advice to you on the usage or purchase of this product. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to request a product to be added to the selection already available.
What happens if I am not at home when my order is delivered?
We at Dental Care Products use Australia Post to deliver parcels. You are able to request for your parcel to be left at a specific location if you are not at home to receive it and they will leave the parcel in the specified location. In these circumstances, we can take no responsibility for parcels that go missing. If a signature is required, and you are not at home, a card will be left so you can pick your parcel up from your closest Post Office. Sometimes cards are accidentally discarded, so if you believe your parcel should have arrived, check with your local Post Office first.
We recommend that you use your business address or where you will be during normal working hours as your delivery address. This way you can receive your order as soon as possible. You can always contact us to find out the progress of your delivery. 'Click and Send' have a tracking number, and this is sent out with your despatch notification.
How long will my order take to get to me?
Over 90 percent of orders are packed and dispatched within 48 hours of placement. Delivery times are reliant upon normal Australia Post delivery hours. It is important to note that orders can only be dispatched from Monday to Friday. Normally, a delivery time of 2-4 working days will be expected. There are some times during the year that delivery could be delayed due to holidays. This will be posted on the homepage of Dental Care Products.
Is my order confidential?
All information collected by Dental Care Products is strictly confidential. We do not provide this information to any other party for any purpose. In additon, all DCP staff are legally bound by conditons of employment to the confidentiality of your order and personal details.
How do I cancel an order?
The best way is to email us at email@example.com as soon as possible and we will cancel it. You must remember that in most cases, orders are dispatched the next business day. Orders that have been dispatched cannot be cancelled and will have to be posted back at the expense of the customer. As long as the packaging is in original condition, a full refund minus postage will be provided.
Can I talk directly to a dentist?
At present, Dental Care Products is run by two practising dentists and although we are not able to answer your phone calls we will email answers within 24 hours to any of your queries. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Obviously, patients of our practice at MDT Dental Surgery have direct access to us and we welcome their queries. You will also now find us on Facebook at the Dental Care Products page. This page has reviews, discussions and regularly-updated information relevant to your dental health.
Do I have to order online?
No. Patients of MDT Dental Surgery are able to place an order at the Surgery by filling out the appropriate details on our in-surgery order form, and placing the order in our order box at reception. The order will be placed for them online and processed the same day.
Who owns and operates dental care products?
Dental Care Products is owned and operated by Dr Craig Morris and Dr Caroline Downing. We are practising dentists who graduated with BDS from Sydney University. Please see our About DCP page for more details.
Can my order be picked up?
At present, we are unable to offer the facilities for self pick-up of your orders.
If I use a credit card to purchase my items, can anyone else obtain my credit card details?
Our payment gateway is designed so that your credit card details are never entered into our site. They are processed at e-way, which uses the latest encryption methods to ensure security of payment. We do not see your credit card details when ordering online, as all transactions are performed by the St George banking institution. We do not store any credit card details, so additions to orders that are already placed will require you to place a new, separate order.
What is Dental Care Product's Privacy Statement?
Our web server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes: the user's server address; the user's top level domain name (eg. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.); the date and time of the visit to the site; the pages accessed; the documents downloaded; the referrring site; and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event of an investigation where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the web server's logs. What do we do with the data collected in our privacy statement?
Dental Care Products uses this information to improve our services and capabilities in operating our business for the consumer. We do not sell, provide, or allow our information to be viewed by any other person other than those employed by DCP. Of course, DCP will also forward order addresses onto Australia Post or the shipping provider so that the parcel can be delivered.
What is the responsibilty of Dental Care Products dentists and staff with regards to orders?
Dental Care Products' prime objective is to ensure the safety of the patient with regards to the safe use of products. DCP staff reserve the right to refuse any orders it may deem to not fit this criteria, or of a nature that may be unsafe in its volumes or capacity for misuse. Detailed instructions about the appropriate use of all products is available online. DCP cannot be held responsible for inappropriate use or misuse of the products supplied.
Do I need to have cookies enabled to use the Dental Care Products web site?
Yes, you must be able to accept session cookies for all functions on the Dental Care Products site for it to work.
